Survivor !!

I was looking up wild onion to see if it is edible because I like raw onion and some grows in my yard. Surprisingly it is edible even though my parents said no when I was a kid. The trick is not to confuse it with daffodil bulb which looks like a wild onion but is deadly. There is an easy way to see the difference though. All you need to do is smell the onion. If it looks AND smells like onion then its fine. The deadly daffodil bulb does not smell anything like onion.

Assassin's creed / ps3

I beat yesterday for the second time Assassin's Creed on my PS3. Awesome game but needs some changes. I was shocked to find out today while looking up stuff online that you can counter kill with the hidden blade. I never knew that and I beat it twice. oh well this video shows a bunch of cool stuff I am going to try as soon as I get home.

Also update on the PS3 Gameswitch. The thing is awesome. I can switch back and forth between pc and ps3 on my monitor and its so good looking. it allows same screen and speakers to be used for both.

Last update, Sims 3, is coming out 2009 cool, Fallout 3 is looking better and better, Diablo 3 is where the real craziness begins but that won't be out for a long time. Also good news is Resident evil 5 is coming out AND HAS CO-OP. I cannot wait. I love Co-op. Me and my brothers will play it on PS3, as we don't have xb0x. You have to admit PS3 is getting better and better, the in-game crossbar still sucks though, it needs to allow you to do way more while in game.

PC Cooling

Cooling your PC past air cooling is hard to get into. I have never done it yet because of cost reasons, and also because there is no 1 easy all in one kit for CPU, GPU, and chipset. I am sure many people who know about it but have never done liquid cooling before are hesitant because of all the mystery that surrounds it. What if it leaks? Will I be able to set it up? What brand is best? I for one have some of these questions. I want to eventually when my budget permits to run a system super cooled and massively overclocked. But for now I wait. As for what my first liquid cooled attempt will be? I found a cheap and super interesting setup on this page:

I faught the law and the law won

I was super disappointed when I got my PS3 because the PS3 uses something called HDCP which stops you from using any monitor or TV that doesn't have HDCP. So naturally my acer x191w which has DVI and VGA connections doesn't support HDCP. Which means when I connected the monitor to the PS3 using a HDMI to DVI cable all I got was a blank screen. I wasted like 10 bucks on the cable. I looked everywhere for a HDCP decoder or anything. After countless searches I gave up.

For some reason a year later here I am just for the hell of it searching again. After 2 hours or so of searching I find it:

The PS3 GameSwitch. Supposedly removes the HDCP and allows any DVI monitor to be used with the PS3. I bought one, soon I will get it and see if it works.

I don't know why but I was looking around wiki yesterday. BTW even though professors will disagree Wikipedia is THE best source for learning about new things, then you can look into them further but I digress. I stumbled across Terraforming which is SO amazing. For some reason I am wishing that tomorrow I would just wake up with the technology and machines to just fly to Venus and terraform it and then say hey mankind I did it. I think its the coolest idea ever. Of course then we would just pollute the new planet until there was not anything left, no resources.

Agent Smith from Matrix 1 (the best one) movie said it best, Humans are a plague, a virus, we keep consuming every natural resource until there is nothing left then move on.

If I could terraform Venus and make it my planet, now that would be something. I would make sure it stayed nice, it would be tough living there though, not as many luxuries that we have now, but they say everything has a price.

First Blog ever - speed demos

This is my first blog ever. It is not something I am doing for others so I don't care how many people read it. All I made it for was everything I find interesting or cool I will put down almost like a journal. All my ideas and findings. So when I am old I can look back on all the stuff. So basically its a blog just for me, which is why I disabled search engines finding this and all that stuff.

For my first entry ever I have found the coolest site full of games played as fast as possible. So far I watched prince of persia warrior within, Fallout 2, Half-life, and portal. So cool how they just run through the game way faster than it was intended to be.
