I can't believe that the game Jagged Alliance 2 still has people playing it, updating it, there is a huge cult following of this turned based, strategy game.

At this site you can find tons of information on the old game. The community apparently made a full rewrite of the game, adding tons of features and making it mod friendly. Also people made a multiplayer patch for the new version 1.13. This is crazy. I reinstalled ja2 because I was itching to play it again. I installed this new 1.13 version and started playing. I took over area you start in and the first town to the right, but as I was recovering and training militia reinforments came flooding in and killed all my mercs, the game play is still hard as ever and I just don't understand how to be good. oh well. Why I wanted to play is this game was cool. You could climb roofs, prone, crouch, stealth, throw knifes, all kinds of gernades, you could explode walls and go in from the hole, wire cut fences, it was awesome but I still don't get why its so hard and people say its easy.
My mercs could never see the enemy but they could see me, my guns are out of range but with a pistol they have perfect accuracy and hit me and kill me.
